My first attempt at using mixed media to create a project using an artist's canvas. I used Cricut's Southwest cartridge and made stencils to paint the borders, adding a layer of modeling paste that gives a lot of dimension.

This card was entered into two challenges: Jitterbuggin's Wise Guys weekly challenge, where the requirements were to use a circle and a square, include and owl and a Cricut Cut; and Fantabulous Cricut's Challenge Me Monday, Bird Bonanza, where you had to create a project with something to do with a bird.
